Chris was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with me and all my questions throughout this process. I was a first time homebuyer and I was very nervous, at times I felt discouraged about what was on the market. Chris would acknowledge my feelings and give great words of encouragement. He understood all of my needs, was very honest when providing feedback on any property. Chris wasn't trying to sale me a house, it was like he was shopping with me lol. The attention he paid to detail pointing things out and explaining concerns in ways that made sense to me.

Chris was recommended to us by my partner's sister and husband, who worked with him when buying their house. They could not recommend him enough, and from our first meeting with Chris we could tell that he truly cared about finding a perfect house for us. As first time home buyers, we came into the process without much knowledge. Chris led us through the entire process, finding homes that fit both our budget and our style, teaching us what to look for during open houses and inspections, helping us get our dream house in a very competitive market, and finally guiding us through all of the paperwork that could sometimes be overwhelming. Chris was everything that we could have wanted in a realtor. He was always available to answer the numerous questions that we had as first time buyers, and always gave us helpful and accurate answers. But he also went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best homebuying experience possible. When we found a house we liked and wanted to schedule a last minute showing, Chris was able to make it happen. When a late scheduling change led to neither of us being able to make it to our inspection, Chris instantly volunteered to go to the house and cover for us. His willingness to be there and help at any moment made our experience far easier and stress free than we ever could have hoped. We cannot recommend Chris Hicks enough.

Chris was excellent to work with and found us the house of our dreams for a great value! As first time home buyers, the process is daunting, especially in the market when we’re looking (January - April 2021). Chris asked all the right questions to fully understand our situation and timelines, and I felt totally confident that Chris would find us the home of our dreams. He was always available, and let us know when he wouldn’t be and had another realtor for us to reference/use in his absence (and this was only once out of over 20+ showings). His professional communication was key to keeping us informed enough to make quick decisions which was required in this market. Above all, I know Chris genuinely cared that we got a house we loved for a good value, and he was invested in our search as much as we were. His positive attitude and assurance was essential to keeping my husband and I sane while house hunting in this market! We selected Chris as our buying agent primarily because of the trustworthiness, insight, and professionalism that he exibited when we encountered him functioning as a listing agent at a property that we visited before had a buying agent. Chris is an exceptional realtor, he immediately communicated with us as soon as new information became available.
